Lessons & Guiding



We have extensive experience working with youth and adults with a wide range of abilities. Whether you are interested in trying fly casting for the first time, or are more "seasoned" and looking to fine-tune your casting or general technique. We will work with you to meet your needs, and when we're out, it's all about you.

LESSONS

If you are interested in learning the basics of fly casting, we have access to private ponds that are well suited to skill development. With plenty of room to cast, we can get you going within half of a day. Lessons are custom suited and can include any of the following topics: casting, nymphing, dry fly fishing, reading the water, knot tying, or fly selection as some examples. The purpose of our private fly fishing lessons is to make you a more self sufficient and well-rounded angler. In doing this we will strengthen your areas of "weakness," and help improve your overall productivity

 

 

 

 

Guiding

New York has a diverse array of fish species to target, as well as many different water types. Season and weather will dictate where we head, as water level and temperature play a major role in location and species we target. 

 

We'll discuss what you are looking for, and based on conditions, tailor the trip as close as we can.

A $75 deposit is required to secure a date (except on short notice). The balance of the payment (check or cash) is due at day's end. There is a 7 day (one week) notice on any trip cancellations to receive your deposit back.

 

Our insurance carrier requires that all participants fill out a waiver prior to all activities.
